How to Unlock BlackBerry Bold 9900 9930 Rogers, AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon, Bell, Telus +
CellUnlock.net posted on their YouTube a video showing the unlock process of a Blackberry Bold 9900. Process is pretty much the same as all previous Blackberrys except for the new OS7 Menu slight changes. All that is requires is the Network MEP or Service Provider MEP (depending on the provider your phone is from). The unlock codes are 8 or 16 digits and are unique to each phone. As you can see in this video, it’s very easy to unlock your Blackberry Bold 9900. Unlocking your Blackberry will enable you to use it with other GSM providers.

That was fast! 1 day prior to launch and they do it again. CellUnlock.net just posted a video on their YouTube account showing how easy and simple it is to unlock the HTC HD7 phone by code. Once unlocked it will work with any GSM provider worldwide. This means you can pick an HD7 and use with AT&T, Rogers, Fido, Vodafone etc.. once unlocked. Process is very simple as we can see in the video. Once you get the unlock code, you simply need to power the phone with a non-allowed SIM and the phone will prompt you for the code.
If you’re picking up an HD7 and want to get it unlocked visit CellUnlock.net HTC HD7 Unlock page.

Yes that’s right! The Blackberry Bold 9780 is expected to be released by T-Mobile November 17th, 2010 and wow, CellUnlock.net already completed a successful unlock today.
The process is the same as all previous Blackberrys. The MEP Unlock Code is based on the IMEI. The only info required in order for them to get your unlock code is your Blackberry’s Provider/IMEI. CellUnlock.net also tells us that regardless of the provider your Blackberry 9780 is from, they are still able to unlock it. That’s great news! Let us know as soon as you get your Bold 9780 and what you like most about it.
We might try and get our sponsors to send us a unit to give away..that would be awesome!

I know what you are all thinking… not another Torch review, we’ve seen enough of these. Well you may be right, but I’d like to think that a review after over two weeks of use could be more valuable than these two day reviews. Not to say those reviews aren’t good, just that there is [...]
Today T-Mobile announced the upcoming availability of RIM’s latest handset the Curve 3G or as its been known around the web for quite some time as the Curve 9300. This device is mainly a refresh of the Curve series to include 3G and it comes with all of the standard BlackBerry features you’ve come to [...]
Well what do we have here? A tipster just sent us an image of the official invite to an AT&T hosted BlackBerry event in NYC on Tuesday, August 3rd. Based on the obvious icons in the flyer, this event can only mean one thing. BlackBerry 6. Now if I had to guess, this has 9800 [...]

The United States government has officially ruled on in favor of “Jailbreaking” your iPhone thanks to the latest review of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Every three years the Library of Congress reexamines the DMCA for exemptions to secure that copy written properties can be used in a non-infringing way. The iPhone being one [...]

Being humble and forthcoming about a mistake you’ve made is never easy, especially when the world is watching. But neglecting to fix that mistake can beget consequences that often outweigh the mistake itself. Well it would seem that the heads over at Apple are trying to follow a simular moral compass. As you are undoubtedly [...]

Our sources at Verizon have informed us that tomorrow, July 18th, Verizon stores will cease all sales of Kin devices. This comes as no surprise with the embarrassingly low device sales, and awful reviews from the majority of the tech community. This seems to be the quickest end to a Microsoft project (or mobile platform [...]

Not sure if you guys watched Steve’s press conference yesterday concerning the iPhone 4 Antenna issue..but before I go on, I want to point out that I’ve been using an iPhone 4 since launch day and have never experienced the bar drop. Let’s get to the point..Apple claims that most smartphones lose signal when holding them in a certain way..and showed some examples. Here’s where it gets fun. Apple claims that holding the Blackberry Bold 9700 in a certain way will make you lose signal…well let me tell you that i’ve been trying it since and nothing! zip! nada! no signal lose….but again, neither does my iPhone 4 lose bars so maybe my hands are “Antennagate” proof! Nonetheless RIM wasn’t too happy about those allegations and released an official statement:
“Apple’s attempt to draw RIM into Apple’s self-made debacle is unacceptable. Apple’s claims about RIM products appear to be deliberate attempts to distort the public’s understanding of an antenna design issue and to deflect attention from Apple’s difficult situation. RIM is a global leader in antenna design and has been successfully designing industry-leading wireless data products with efficient and effective radio performance for over 20 years. During that time, RIM has avoided designs like the one Apple used in the iPhone 4 and instead has used innovative designs which reduce the risk for dropped calls, especially in areas of lower coverage. One thing is for certain, RIM’s customers don’t need to use a case for their BlackBerry smartphone to maintain proper connectivity. Apple clearly made certain design decisions and it should take responsibility for these decisions rather than trying to draw RIM and others into a situation that relates specifically to Apple.”

Guess we’re in for a nice AT&T-Verizon style saga!
The last time Verizon Wireless had a highly anticipated device wasn’t too long ago, and some would argue that the Motorola Droid X has surpassed the hype of the Droid Incredible by HTC. We aren’t here to debate that. We are here to give you our early thoughts on the latest Droid that does. Verizon [...]
