Unofficial T-Mobile Cruve 8520 Review

Posted on 26. Jun, 2009 by in BlackBerry

The T-Mobile Curve 8520 aka Gemini has showed its face again.  This time in the form of a review done up by PhoneArena.  The review is lengthy and full of pictures galore.  You may or may not already be aware the 8520 is set to be the first BlackBerry to use a trackpad instead of the, now traditional, trackball.  It is good to see the reviews start coming in, we can only hope the actually release isn’t too far behind.  Here is the overall conclusion of the review:

Overall the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a fine device for what it is.  It may not be the finest in fit and finish, but it brings the best Blackberry features to a low-end device.  The size and weight are good, the display is ample and the optical trackpad brings a bit of innovation.  RIM has some work to do on the Curve’s performance, but if they fix that we don’t see why this device won’t be very popular.

More pictures after the jump..
