I’m pretty knew to researching upcoming Verizon phones…does anyone know typically how long it has taken in the past for a phone to go from showing up on the inventory list to actually being in stores? And is the Incredible and Desire essentially the same phone?

I wouldn’t hold my breath for N1 in VZW’s inventory system. VZW has said that they won’t be stocking inventory of the N1, it will be completely handled by big G

Finally, some news about the Incredible. I haven’t heard anything since the video leaked in early February. Personally, I don’t care about the Nexus One if I can get my hands on the Incredible. What does the Nexus One have over the Incredible anyways? It has a lame trackball and no Sense UI. The Incredible has the trackpad & the Sense UI. I vote Incredible!

I would hope that Google/Verizon would take a different approach than how they have done it with T-Mobile. The fact that the Nexus One is missing from T-Mobile’s website is not the way to go about doing it.

why would they need a display unit for verizon if it won’t be sold in verizon stores?
The whole point of the nexus one is to sell it exclusively from google thus eliminating the need for the carriers assitance for sale except for the service
