Verizon Wireless To Bring Their Backup Assistant To BlackBerry Devices On March 9th
Posted on 26. Feb, 2010 by John in BlackBerry, Rumors
We just got some pictures sent in to us showing that Verizon Wireless will be launching their Backup Assistant service for BlackBerry devices on March 9th. For those who like to have redundancy with their contacts this is a great way to keep them backed up via a wireless application. Backup assistant is free for customers who are signed up for My Verizon. This sure beats the instructions they provide currently for getting your contacts from Backup Assistant to your BlackBerry. Once Backup Assistant is released for BlackBerry it will be as simple as downloading the app, signing in with your pin, and your contacts will transfer. Check out more pics below.
Big thanks to anonymous!!!

We have contacted our source and he stated that he isn’t sure why the delay in release. They had employees go through training around the time we leaked the story. Maybe there was an issue with the last build? We will update the story when we have more information
