Motorola Backflip Now On AT&T

AT&T and Motorola have released the Motorola Backflip, AT&T’s first Android device.  The Backflip runs Android 1.5 (upgradeable to 2.1) with MOTOBLUR and has an unique way of folding over on itself.  In the picture above you can see how the screen would fold backwards, still leaving the screen and keyboard exposed on opposing sides.  I had a chance to get my hands on one at CES, and it was a little different seeing a phone fold up in this manner, but intriguing.  It will be interesting to see the implementation of Yahoo! search throughout the device instead of Google as we had previously reported as well.  You can pick up a Backflip from AT&T for $99.99 after MIR on a 2-year agreement w/data plan starting today.
