Skype Mobile Released For Verizon Wireless BlackBerry And Android Smartphones

Just as advertised Verizon Wireless has released Skype Mobile for BlackBerry and Android smartphones. The app will only work on Verizon devices at the current time. Exclusives are a great way for carriers to drive customers to them, but we don’t really see anyone jumping ship with their current carrier just for a Skype Mobile application that doesn’t even work via Wi-Fi.
