Well, this last week has been a good one hasn’t it? First the next gen iPhone gets outted from a bar stool to our living rooms and now BGR has posted some screen shots of BlackBerry OS 6.0. The screens show a new look, although not much different from the current look of OS 5.0. The upcoming webkit browser is shown off as well. There are some other features listed over in the original article that I am sure you are all dying to know, but before you head over there I want to point something out. Shortly after these pictures leaked there were some questions raised on Twitter about the date on the above screen. Thursday May, 21st and the time of 12:21m. Were these screens almost a year old? Our friend @ASacco reminded everyone that RIM uses these standard times/dates in their press shots for a device or OS. Which leads me to believe, that at least the shot above is a press shot. Could RIM really be unveiling OS 6.0 at WES? It is starting to look likely. The report stated that it would be available June/July time frame. RIM looks like they are setting themselves up to compete with the iPhone and Apple directly. Also, what device are these screens from? Just food for thought. The rest of the pictures below and all the details are posted on BGR.
