HTC Incredible Shows Up In Verizons CelleBrite Machines (Real)

Posted on 02. Apr, 2010 by in Tech News

After the mix up last night regarding the Verizon having started Incredible training I am happy to say that this picture is confirmed.  The HTC 6300 Incredible has shown up in Verizon CellBrite units after the most recent update to their software.  Yet another good sign the Incredible is inching closer to life in the real world.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see a real training screen shot leak sooner rather than later.

Thanks Gregg (you redeemed yourself ;) )

There has been a second picture posted just for confirmation.

It’s a data transfer machine. When you take your old phone in….the CellBrite transfers numbers and files to your upgrade phone.

A cellebrite machine is what they use to transfer contacts/pictures from one device to another. Each phone has its own settings so they have to be added via software updates. All this means as far as timing is just that the release is getting closer. Usually a month or so. But that’s not set in stone.

Any sense of the time between the appearance of a device in CelleBrite and it showing up in stores?

From the time I spent working at VZW, the time between Cellebrite and actual sale was a month or so. We need to get someone to let us know when the iPhone shows up in the Cellebrite. :) mwahahaha!!

And not to mention, starting April 1, the Eris is End of Life, so that means they’re just making room for the Incredible.
