Police Seize Computers and Other Equipment Investigating Next Gen iPhone

Well, Gizmodo, things took a turn for the worse over the weekend for ya. As we all were amazed at the initial story about the next gen iPhone and how it ended up in the hands of Gizmodo writer Jason Chen, did we really think there would be no repercussions at all? It seems Apple and/or the State of California are going to pursue whatever criminal charges that they can to the fullest extent of the law. This last Friday, they served a search warrant on Jason Chen’s home. The list of what they took is long, basically anything that could have any electronic evidence pertaining to the next gen iPhone. Gawkers lawyer, the company that owns Gizmodo, is claiming that the entire search and everything seized during it was invalid due to Jason being press. No comment back from the State of California, but one thing is certain. It just got pretty serious for Gizmodo and Jason Chen.
