Telstra Blackberry 9100That’s right Australia! Telstra announced that they will be exclusively carrying the new stunning Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G soon. According to the press release, the phone will be available later this month but Telstra has not confirmed an actual date yet. Pricing information has not been revealed either but will be announced closer to launch date. What we do know is that it will be available from Telstra in Royal Purple and Piano Black. I can’t wait to hold one of these in my hands. Let’s not forget that the 9100 will be the smallest BlackBerry® smartphone yet to be released.

The new BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone is as powerful as it is compact. It measures less than two inches wide and weighs only 93 grams, yet it packs support for high-speed 3G networks, Wi-Fi® (b/g/n) and GPS and features a powerful processor that drives a sharp, high-resolution display.

Telstra customers can pre-register their interest in the BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone by visitingTelstra BlackBerry Pearl. Customers who pre-register will be amongst the first to receive further information on the launch of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G.

Looks like Telstra will also stage an exclusive concert for the launch with a mystery performing artist..Lady Gaga I suppose? or Adam Lambert? who knows…I just want the phone for now!!
