Google To Roll Out Nexus One Android 2.2 Updates In A Few Weeks?

After the Google event this morning I sent in a request/inquiry to see if there are any Nexus One review devices with 2.2 that I would be able to get my hands on. After being bounced around a few times I finally got the following answer:
Thanks for checking. OTA updates to 2.2 will begin soon (in the next few weeks), but I’m afraid we don’t [have] demo units or anything to offer.
In my request email I specifically asked for a Nexus One with 2.2. Taking that into account with the above response, is it safe to say that the Nexus One will have 2.2 in a just a few short weeks? I would say yes. Great news if you were an early adopter and have your hands on a Nexus One.
