RUMOR: Microsoft’s Kin Just 3 Days Away?

The folks over at slashphone have gotten their hands on what looks to be internal Verizon emails, indicating that Microsoft’s teen lovin’ Kin 1 and Kin 2 will be available for pre-order starting this Thursday the 6th. The phones would then officially drop the 13th according to the screens. What we’ve heard from Microsoft was that the Kin phones would release in May so there is some credibility to this rumor but we are looking into it more to see what we can find out for you guys. All you teeny-boppers out there, be ready to ask Mom and Dad for the credit card.

This is definitely good news! I may not be a teen but, this will definitely be an awesome phone to keep on my social life!

The coming of Kin marks the going of Instant Messaging (IM).
IM is banned on Kin. Well, at least it won’t work, and Microsoft won’t allow you to install any IM apps. Especially not the Java apps that all other phones use. How strange.
