Sprint Stores Opening Early On June 4th For EVO Launch. Mobile Hotspot Expected To Work Without HotSpot Plan…For Now

Engadget is reporting that Sprint stores are being encouraged to open early to help deal with the expected extra traffic in store on June 4th, the day the EVO launches.

The extra store hours are sure to help make costumers and EVO fanatics happier.  One thing that those living in 4G areas will also be happy about for the time being is the fact that the Mobile Hotspot will also work on the standard $29.99 plan, not requiring the Mobile Hotspot add-on–for now.  There seems to be a glitch in the matrix system that will allow for the hotspot to work in only 4G areas, leaving fringe or 3G customers in the dark.  All I can say is use and abuse it if you are lucky enough to be in an area with 4G, remember 8 devices at once can be connected to the Mobile Hotspot.  They problem is expected to be fixed in July.
