Motorola Droid gets Froyo/Android 2.2 ROM

Posted on 05. Jun, 2010 by in Tech News

Anyone who uses Android but isn’t on a Nexus One has been feeling pretty left out when it comes to Android 2.2.  This morning some good news for Motorola Droid users came out of My Droid World.  They released a full on Android 2.2 ROM for the Droid.  Now, keep in mind this is not an official update from Motorola or Google so there are going to be issues and bugs.  It is what it is, you have to give some stuff up to be ahead of the game sometimes.  Please install at your own risk and know what you are doing before you do it.
