New App: Spitfire for BlackBerry
Posted on 29. Jun, 2010 by John in BlackBerry
Awhile back we told you guys about an application called PushPress that was entering a private beta. After a few more tweaks and a name change, Spitfire has emerged. Spitfire is a complete RSS reader application for BlackBerry smartphones. The key features of the application include:
- Import WordPress and FeedBurner RSS URLs
- Comment on PushPress enabled blogs right from the post
- Share posts through Email, Facebook and Twitter
- Quick view of last post time and image from the homescreen
- 2 reading layouts – Tile View and List View
- Delete read posts to clear your list
I have used this app from day one more or less, and I have to say I love it. The transitions and look/feel of it is something you find appealing right away. Right now Spitfire is on sale for only $.99 for launch, after that it will go back up to $1.39. Both are amazing prices but the $.99 is hard to pass up. Read the full description in the BerryScoop Store!
(full disclosure: Staff writer Kyle Fowler is the developer of this application.)
