Verizon releases Blackberry Bold 9650 OS 5.0.0.732

Wow..that was fast! Less then a week ago the Blackberry Bold 9650 was launched by Verizon and according to CB, an OTA update is already available. Doesn’t look like the OS is available yet on VZW website, but if you’re rocking a 9650 let us know if you were able to get this update…and if so, we hope you tell us all about it.

just got the bold monday and love it. downloading the update now. it is now availbe for verizon

I’m actually currently updating my Bold 9650 right now! Woke up this morning and saw a message on cell. Gave me the option of updating. It was done as a wireless update. So far the BB has been great! Might not be capable of some fancy things like the Droid Incredible, but keep in mind BB loyalists are devoted to our BB’s b/c there’s something no other cell can replace!

Please post anything you notice after the update is complete. I scheduled mine to 2am tonight. I’m very disappointed with the Bold’s signal. I can’t use it in parts of my house where my Curve 8330 worked just fine.
